The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at òòò½´«Ã½ is pleased to announce that distinguished alumnus New York City Fire Commissioner Robert S. Tucker will deliver the Law Schoolòòò½´«Ã½™s commencement address at its 47th Commencement Ceremony, to be held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens on May 20. Commissioner Tucker will also receive the Doctor of Laws, honoris causa, the highest honor conferred by the Law School, recognizing his lifelong contributions to public service, public safety, and the legal profession.

òòò½´«Ã½ is expanding its STEM offerings with the launch of a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering in fall 2026. Offered through the Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems, this program will be the Universityòòò½´«Ã½™s and Westchester Countyòòò½´«Ã½™s first four-year engineering degree, equipping students with essential skills in hardware/software co-design, embedded systems, and real-time computing.

On March 8òòò½´«Ã½“9, 2025, the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at òòò½´«Ã½ hosted the 2025 Regional Round for the Americas and the Caribbean of the International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition (ICC Moot). The event brought seven teams to Haub Law, with the top US teams qualifying for the global ICC Moot Court Competition held annually in The Hague, Netherlands. This year, Haub Lawòòò½´«Ã½™s team qualified as a finalist and will be traveling to The Hague in June.
