Welcome to the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program (MSOT), College of Health Professions at òòò½´«Ã½.
I am pleased to introduce our new hybrid entry-level MSOT weekday program. Our goal is to prepare students to become competent and ethical OT practitioners who maximize clientsòòò½´«Ã½™ quality of life through technology, evidence-based, client-centered, and interprofessional practice. Our curriculum emphasizes four major themes including a) Evidence-based Practice and Scholarship, b) Occupation-centered and Client-centered Approach, c) Ethics and Interprofessional Practice, and d) Innovation and Technology. òòò½´«Ã½ can complete the didactic coursework and clinical fieldwork education within 28 months.
We offer students opportunities to collaborate with other disciplines to learn interprofessionally and develop innovative projects. Our state-of-the-art laboratories, including a model OT apartment and the College of Health Professions Center for Excellence in Healthcare Simulation, provide students hands-on simulated living and valuable learning experiences.
